The Finance Director will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial functions, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and compliance. You will lead a dedicated finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence. Key responsibilities include: * **Strategic Financial Leadership:** Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Contributing to the strategic planning process, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making. * **Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):** Leading the development and management of the company’s budget, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Monitoring performance against targets and providing timely and accurate reporting to management. * **Accounting & Reporting:** Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Ensuring the integrity of financial data and systems. Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes. * **Treasury Management:** Managing the company’s cash flow, banking relationships, and investments. Optimizing working capital and ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs. * **Tax & Compliance:** Ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. Managing tax planning and reporting. Overseeing internal controls to safeguard company assets. * **Team Leadership:** Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team. Fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. * A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. * Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling tools. * Experience in [Mention specific industry if applicable, e.g., SaaS, manufacturing, retail] is a plus.
