By Subway (Recommended)
The subway is the most convenient and cost-effective way to reach SFC.
- Line 1 & 2: City Hall Station (시청역) Exit 4 or 5. Both exits are directly connected to the basement level of Seoul Finance Center. Look for signs indicating the way to SFC as you exit the station.
Once inside the SFC basement level, follow the signs to reach your desired office or meeting point. The building has multiple floors above ground.
By Bus
Numerous bus lines stop near Seoul Finance Center. Consult a local map or navigation app (such as KakaoMap or Naver Map) to identify the best bus route from your location.
Search for buses stopping at the following bus stops:
- City Hall (시청) – Many major bus lines stop here, a short walk to SFC.
- Seoul Plaza Hotel (서울프라자호텔) – Located just across the street from SFC.
After disembarking, use the visible landmark of Seoul Finance Center’s tall building to guide you. It’s typically a short walk from any of these bus stops.
By Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Seoul. Simply tell the driver you wish to go to “Seoul Finance Center” (서울파이낸스센터) or “SFC.” If you are unsure, you can show the driver the address in Korean: 서울특별시 중구 세종대로 136 (136, Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul).
During peak hours, traffic around City Hall can be heavy, so allow extra travel time.
By Car
Driving to Seoul Finance Center is possible, but parking can be expensive and traffic congested, especially during rush hour. Consider using public transport if possible.
The parking entrance is located on the side of the building facing Seoul Plaza Hotel. Navigation systems should accurately guide you to the address: 서울특별시 중구 세종대로 136.
Parking fees are typically charged hourly. Check with the specific office or event you are attending at SFC, as they may offer parking validation.
Important Notes:
- Korean Language: While many signs are in English, learning a few basic Korean phrases can be helpful.
- Navigation Apps: Download KakaoMap or Naver Map for accurate real-time directions and bus/subway information. These apps are more reliable than Google Maps in Korea.
- Rush Hour: Avoid traveling during peak hours (7:00-9:00 AM and 5:00-7:00 PM) if possible, as traffic can be significantly heavier.
